Looking After Your Watch

All watches can get a bit grubby after a while but here are some hints and tips to maintain the quality of your watch.

After wearing your watch, give it a quick wipe with a clean polish or jeweller’s cloth, helping to remove any perspirations left on the watch.

Dirt can get into all areas of the watch so if you do start to notice this, get a small soft bristled brush and gently brush the dirt away and then clean with warm water.

Try and avoid any corrosive or acidic products as this will damage the watch over time. This includes perfumes/fragrances, lotions and also oil based products for leather strap watches.

Very high and very low temperatures can also affect your watch, so try and keep it well protected or covered if it’s really hot or freezing cold.
