• The modern re-imagining of the classic Frogman, the new GWF-D1000-1 packs a host of new features in an even stronger composite body.
• Solar powered for a truly long-lived time piece. 
• The "MultiBand 6" feature is to ensure the watch continuously displays the correct time. This radio controlled time feature auto-corrects the hands if they are misaligned, and coupled with the world time ability, receives a signal from one of 6 towers around the world. These are located in Fort Collins in the U.S.A., Anthorn in the U.K., Mainflingen in Germany, Shangqiu in China, Mount Otakadoya and Mount Hagane in Japan, to give the correct time to the second almost anywhere around the world. Used in conjunction with the world time feature, this enables the user to select the relevant time zone and the watch self updates to the local time. The watch can also self-adjust to account for Daylight Savings and winter time.
• Billed as a divers watch, this model features full 200 metre ISO certification, a Depth Meter, a dive counter and an auto-LED for improved visibility in low or no-light conditions.
• The range of features included in this watch consist of an ambient thermometer, a digital compass, a diving depth gauge to -80m, a tide indicator and a moon phase indicator. Added features include the Divers Log for recording dive time, water temp, and depth for later recalling; and an all-important surfacing alert, which alerts users if rising at a speed of more than 10m/Min, signalling the diver is not in compliance with decompression times.

• Button operated, the chronograph is accurate from 1/100 sec to 100 hours and features a split/lap timer.
• The timer measures in 1/1 sec to 24 hours, and features an audible alarm on completion.
• Dual layered protection, like all G-Shock's, the GWF-D1000-1 has a suspended mechanism in a stainless steel and polycarbonate frame, wrapped in the tough thermoplastic polyurethane resin outer case for the ultimate protection.
