G-SHOCK Mid-Size G-STEEL: still tough, still sleek, now smaller
G-SHOCK's New G-Steel series of the GST-W300 is finally here! These models are a continuation of the stainless-steel series we currently stock, except these are mid-sized. In order to create this thinner and smaller dial, G-Shock used reinforced resin bezel mixed with high-density materials.
Both GST-W300 use a digital and dual indicator, three LCD sub-dials which convey the date, time and even seconds at a glance. Also, the dual LED backlight and Glow in the dark infill ensures the wearer to view all the information on their watch in the dark.
The Multi Band 6 radio control feature allows for precision timekeeping as the watch self-updates. Also, the feature can set the automated time in Europe, the US, Japan and China. Equipped with solar energy function Tough Solar, these watches are powered by sunlight and even weak fluorescent lights.
Early this year, we received the new leather strap G-STEEL collection which featured the GST-W130L-1AER & GST-W120L-1AER. These models are identical to the classic stainless-steel watches, the only difference is the use of a soft suede-like leather black and brown strap. In these past few months, the G-STEEL collection has grown so much. Its design and reach has expanded thanks to the resin and leather strap models which gave the G-STEEL watches a more youthful and fun look.
What do YOU think of the GST-W300?
If you're a fan of the G-STEEL collection, you'll love the GST-W300 series - smaller dial and case and thinner strap. This model is better suited for people with smaller wrists or fans of smaller case watches. Although the classic stainless-steel G-STEEL is amazing, some feel like the watch is too heavy. The combination of a resin-polyurethane strap with a sharp metal mid-size case helped G-SHOCK make a tough and comfortable watch.
