- The Seiko 5 Sports ‘Field’ collection was created with an ‘in the field’ military design – taking inspiration from a style originally called a ‘trench watch,’ created to be robust and reliable in tough conditions – echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics.
- The mechanism used is an in-house-built 4R36 automatic movement with manual winding capacity. This calibre movement is complete with 24 Jewels and a 41-hour power reserve.

Really impressive watch, glow in the dark hands, smooth automatic movement and date window is perfect. Really happy with this. Only slight criticism is it can squeak a little bit when moving left to right but hardly noticeable. Easily best price I have seen it too. It looks great to watch. I haven’t used it yet. Excellent communication.
