- With the combination of Arabic numbers and different spot and baton markers, ‘Midfield’ expresses a sports aesthetic enhanced by its durable stainless-steel case and “Desert kit” beige coloured nylon strap.
- The Seiko 5 Sports ‘Field’ collection was created with an ‘in the field’ military design – taking inspiration from a style originally called a ‘trench watch,’ created to be robust and reliable in tough conditions – echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics.
- The mechanism used is an in-house-built 4R36 automatic movement with manual winding capacity. This calibre movement is complete with 24 Jewels and a 41-hour power reserve.

Seiko being the best at what they do as always. The 36mm is the perfect size even on my 8" wrist. Hard to believe this watch cost what it did, it feels better quality than watches I have that cost more than double. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
