Orient Watches Celebrates 75 Years with Stunning Limited Editions

Orient Watches is marking its 75th anniversary in serious style, rolling out a selection of limited-edition timepieces that channel a vintage aesthetic many of us never even knew existed! This special Orient Bambino collection proudly features the brand’s original 1950s logo, adding a nostalgic touch to some of the most eye-catching designs we've seen from the Japanese watchmaker in recent years.

But that’s not all! Alongside these exclusive releases, Orient is also expanding its Bambino range with fresh dial colours for both the Bambino Classic and the Bambino Day/Night.

Bambino 75th Anniversary Limited Edition (Ref. RA-AC0027S)

First up, we’ve got the Bambino 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Ref. RA-AC0027S, a refined take on the classic Bambino design. While it’s limited, 9,500 pieces still make it reasonably accessible. The watch boasts a timeless white dial with pink-gold-coloured indices, striking blue hands, and that charming vintage Orient logo. Flip it over, and you’ll find an exhibition case back with “Orient Since 1950 75th Anniversary” embossed on the sapphire crystal, revealing the Calibre F6B24 movement with a 40-hour power reserve ticking away beneath.

The 40.5mm case is complemented by a calf leather strap that can be swapped out for a fresh look. At 12.3mm thick and 46.5mm lug-to-lug, it wears comfortably on the wrist while offering 30 metres of water resistance.

In addition to this limited edition, Orient is rolling out four new standard Bambino Classic models in green, navy blue, beige, and Bordeaux dials, all sharing the same specs as the anniversary piece.

Bambino Sun & Moon 75th Anniversary Limited Edition (Ref. RA-AK0808S)

Next in line is the Bambino Sun & Moon 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Ref. RA-AK0808S, a sophisticated twist on the classic LE, limited to just 5,500 pieces. Retaining the elegant design cues of the previous model, this one features a sun/moon indicator at 5 o’clock and a day-of-the-week display at 10 o’clock, adding extra functionality for those who love complications.

The case is slightly larger at 41.5mm wide, 14.2mm thick, with a 47mm lug-to-lug measurement. Powering this beauty is the same Calibre F6B24 movement, now enhanced with its additional functions.

Just like its Classic counterpart, the Bambino Sun & Moon also gets a fresh update with new dial colours—green, navy blue, and Bordeaux—for collectors who love variety.

Final Thoughts

Whether you're a long-time Orient fan or new to the brand, this 75th-anniversary collection has something special for everyone. With vintage aesthetics, modern mechanics, and a mix of limited and standard editions, these timepieces are set to become future classics.
