These beautifully crafted clocks embody original French designs and the classic creativity of early horologists.

Founded in the 1970’s, the company was originally called Weiss Clocks Limited. After a restructure in 1996 the brand was then renamed David Peterson Clocks.

From its factory in Reading, Weiss Clocks produced many thousands of clocks using the name ‘Weiss’ on quartz models and ‘David Peterson’ on the more expensive mechanical 8-day models (so called because one full wind of the mainspring would last 8 days).

The timeless design of these clocks works so well in many places and for many occasions. A traditional style with elegance that does not draw too much attention from an entire room but just enough to bring that sentimental smile. Many people still buy these as gifts for the big occasions, such as, anniversaries, milestone birthdays or long-term service awards.
