More Information

It is recommended to wind your clock fully every 7 days. To wind the clock, use the enclosed key. The centre winder is for the timekeeping, the right winder is for the quarter-hour chime and the left winder is for the hour strike. You will need to turn the key clockwise until it stops.
Hang the pendulum onto the pendulum leader. This is a small square metal part that is underneath the dial of the clock. You will be able to hook the pendulum on this this.
To start the pendulum, move the pendulum slightly to either the left or right and release gently. You should hear an even "tic - toc" sound. If this is not the case, gently push the pendulum leader (the small square part under the dial) either left or right. If the “tic-toc” sounds more uneven, repeat the process in the opposite direction until the sound is smooth.
The chime shut-off lever is located to the left of the numeral 9. Lever up = chime and Lever down = silent
To set the clock and strike, set the shut-off lever to chime. Release the chime by moving the minute hand (the long hand) forward to the numeral 12. The clock should chime on the hour after the melody is played.
If this is not the case move the minute hand back to the numeral 10 and then forward to 12. This should release the chime again. If the clock begins to run slow, turn the regulating nut below the pendulum to the left.
If the clock begins to run fast, turn the regulating nut to the right. One turn of the regulating nut changes corresponds to a time difference of approximately 1 minute per day.
